IP (Integrated Programme)

The Integrated Programme, or IP, offers an alternative educational path for students in Singapore. Here are the key points:

Purpose: IP is a 6-year program introduced in 2004 that allows students to bypass the national O-level examinations and proceed directly to A-levels or other qualifications like the International Baccalaureate (IB).

Curriculum: IP students undergo a comprehensive curriculum from Year 1 to Year 4, covering subjects like Mathematics, Sciences, Language Arts, History, Geography, and more. Depending on the IP school, additional subjects like International Studies may be included to encourage international understanding.

Benefits: By skipping O-levels, IP students have more time for holistic development, including extracurricular activities, and are believed to have a richer educational experience.
